The Philippine International Furniture Show (PIFS) returns for its sixth edition at the SMX Convention Centre. The three-day event once again brings together local and international brands, manufacturers, and designers to showcase their latest creations and ideas to the local, regional, and global market.

Visitors can participate in interactive programmes featuring local and international artists and artisans, including Nelson Sepulveda, a renowned Chilean stylist, scenographer, and designer. He was also a guest during the October edition of the 2016 Manila FAME. He brings back his expertise in natural, handmade, and artisan crafts for the guests of the expo.

PIFS is organised by the three main furniture trade associations in the country—the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation Inc, the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, and the Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation. Every year it is attended by some 7,000 trade visitors, where they get a preview of the thriving local design scene through the participating furniture and furnishing brans including Locsin International, Cebu Fil Veneer, Mehitabel, and Betis Crafts. The sixth year of the Philippine International Furniture Show is in full swing
