Liding Oledan, respected and much sought-after jeweller to Manila’s aristocratic set, celebrated her 87th birthday recently. After a mass to start the evening, about 100 guests, made up of family and close friends, sat down to enjoy dinner prepared by Via Mare. The G 7 Plus band, with Linda Oledan as one of the lead singers, performed songs that were dedicated to the celebrator. Jay Cayuca then had the guests appreciatively listening to his masterful violin performance. Vernie Varga Oledan, Johnny Velasquez, and Tony Boy Floirendo sang songs specially for the beloved lady. Soon it was time to blow the candles on the beautiful cake expressly made by Chef Aggy Villlabona. The evening was truly a memorable tribute prepared by her dear children and grandchildren.
