Sofitel Philippine Plaza showcased Ryan Madamba’s Äbelissimo Collection as a tribute to mothers. Showcasing the fabric Abel Iloco made by the finest female weavers from Ilocos Norte, Madamba added a modern twist to this traditional textile for his luxury resort and evening collection. Sofitel awarded outstanding inspirational women who are not only successful in their endeavours but also known to be dedicated mothers.These notable women clad in Madamba's designs were Rizalina Mantaring, Bea Teh-Tan, Natividad Alejo, Merlee Jayme, Mildred Vitangcol, Debbie Namalata, Imelda Lerma, and Cristina Garcia. Imelda Marcos and Imee Marcos were the guests of honour at the cultural event.
