At the invitation of Artisan Cellars, the brand ambassador of the Bastianich and La Mozza wineries, Andrea Manuali, welcomed guests to Sage. The young Italian came in representation of the culinary icons Joe and Lidia Bastianich, whose namesake vineyard has been producing esteemed Friuli-Venezia Giulia wines while their joint venture with the renowned chef Mario Batalli features the La Mozza brand. A delectable gustatory menu prepared by Makati Shangri-La's head sommelier and director of beverage, Daniel Blaise, impressed the guest list which included the Italian ambassador Massimo Roscigno and his wife Agnes; Margarita and Bledes Fores; and, the chef Jose Luis Gonzalez.
