Philippine Tatler, together with Wine Story and The Peninsula Manila, launched the 2014 Philippines' Best Restaurants Guide. The 11th edition of the annual review for fine dining across the country featured 163 restaurants. This year's event was marked by the milestone of the inaugural "Best of Awards," which credited deserving establishments for the Best Chef or the Best Setting, among the selected accolades. The hospitality industry's respected figures such as Shangri-la Hotels and Resorts' general manager Alain Borges, Solaire Resort and Casino's director of communications Joy Wassmer, and acclaimed chef Colin Mackay, were among the guests who graced the event alongside Sofia Elizalde, Vicky Zubiri, and Mario Katigbak.
