Giordano Conti, Margarita Forès, Ambassador Massimo Roscigno

The Itanlian Embassy hosted a special affair in celebration of the rich musical and culinary heritage of Emilia-Romagna. Ambassador Massimo Roscigno and his wife Agnes welcomed friends to a night of opera music and Italian food. The event also aunched Casa Artusi Philippines, headed by chefs Margarita Forés and Carla Brigliadori. The Manila Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jeffrey Solares, performed with singers Geraldine "Fame" Flores and Lemuel Dela CruzMargherita Spinazzola, translator of the book, Il Gusto della Musica (The Taste of Music), gave guests historical background of the Italian recipes presented in the affair and their strong connection with Italian music. The president of Casa Artusi Forlimpopoli in Italy, Giordano Conti, as well as ambassadors Thomas Ossowski, Marion Derckx, Julio Camarena, and other guests such as Mario Katigbak, Teddy Boy and Louie Locsin, Consul George Yang, Rikki and Beng Dee, Nedy Tantoco and Senator Pia Cayetano graced the event.
