Elena Arzak, the fourth generation and head chef of the 3-Michelin star restaurant Arzak in San Sebastian, and J Luis Gonzalez, the innovative head chef of VASK, joined forces for a spectacular menu on the first night of Madrid Fusion Manila. Gonzalez, who had spent time in the kitchen of Arzak, presented Kulinarya, which focuses on the importance of using Filipino ingredients. The exclusive dinner featured 14 dishes from the visiting chef with only 40 patrons and guests partaking of the special experience, amongst them: Larry and Rosalen Ocampo, Myrna Segismundo, J Gamboa, and Lauro and Grace Baja.
