The cultural ties between the Philippines and France were strenghtened once again during the met Fête 2014. A preview of the works of Filipino artists who have lived in France and French artists who have lived in the Philippines were showcased during the event, which was held for the benefit of the education, exhibition, and outreach programmes of the Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET). 

Chairs Irene Martel Francisco, Louis Paul Heussaff, Doris Magsaysay Ho, Fe Rodriguez, Zenaida Tantoco, and Mercedes Zobel were grateful to everyone who supported the event.
