Soon to be opening its doors is the towering 250-metres high Shangri-La at The Fort—a landmark of luxury living and elite lifestyle.

Located at the heart of the Bonifacio Global City, Shangri-La redefines luxury with mixed-use development with a Shangri-La Hotel at its helm, alongside other high-end developments such as Shangri-La Residences, Kerry Sports Manila, Horizon Homes, and other top luxury retail outlets.

The Shangri-La properties take pride in its newest development set to become one of the tallest towers in the Philippines—250 metres high with 576 deluxe guestrooms, 46 suites, four specialty suites and a presidential suite. Guests are to be indulged with an unobstructed view of the sprawling city and Manila Bay, as well as easy access to significant establishments such as schools, international airport, world-class medical facility, and leisure clubs like the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club. Designed by Handel Architects and Hirsch Bedner Associates for its interior design, the hotel is truly a dynamic destination for contemporary lifestyle and accessible luxury.

Shangri-La at The Fort has a lot of amenities to address the guests’ most important events. There will be a grand pillar-less ballroom boasting a ceiling height of over 9 metres, a large pre-function area that can house cocktail receptions, as well as two VIP rooms. There will also be a junior ballroom and 10 meeting rooms. Moreover, Shangri-La at The Fort will be opening the doors of a health and leisure club, Kerry Sports Manila. It will be the ultimate, one-stop fitness and recreation destination, located at the fifth and sixth level. It consists of an NBA-sized indoor basketball court, tennis court, squash courts, a swimming pool, extensive gym facilities, and a spa. It will also be housing Adventure Zone, a multi-level indoor playground and party rooms for children. Besides the indoor sports facilities, the hotel will also be having an outdoor swimming pool and an expansive green space, perfect for outdoor activities like running and biking.

Of course one particular signature of Shangri-La hotels is its wide-range of cuisines in its restaurants and bars. The hotel will be offering gourmets and gourmands, six cutting-edge restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining restaurant with nine kitchen theatres that offer international cuisines such as Mediterranean, Continental, Asian, and Chinese. Shangri-La at The Fort will be having a steakhouse and bar, a contemporary Cantonese cuisine Chinese restaurant, a poolside seafood restaurant, a lounge, and a nightclub. 

Shangri-La at The Fort is a LEED-certified green development, which is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standard of sustainable design. Engineered by DeSimone Consulting Engineers, it is being completed using state-of-the-art earthquake engineering design. Hopefully by summer of 2015, the towering five-star hotel will open its doors and cater the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Manila.
