The Big Big Show | December 3

A concert that features “three women with big voices, big talents, and big hearts,” The Big Big Show unites Radha, Bituin Escalante, and Frenchie Dy for the first time under the same spotlight this Christmas season.

Radha was a member of 1991 hip-hop group Kulay which later disbanded in 2000. In 2013, she took a shot at making a comeback via The Voice of the Philippines and finished in the competition as the runner-up. Bituin Escalante, meanwhile, rose to fame in 2000 for her interpretation of the song “Paano Na” for Metropop and in 2002 “Kung Ako Na Lang Sana” for the Himig Handog Music Love Song Festival. Frenchie Dy caught the public eye in 2004 as the grand winner of the second season of ABS-CBN’s Star in a Million. Since then, she has been active in the local showbiz scene with musical variety shows as well as drama and movie appearances.

The Big Big Show is about life stories, memories, and lessons delivered through the passionate singing of the three divas. While the three ladies are close friends and have been front acts for other artists before, Dy notes that this is the first time they are performing on the same concert stage. Kanta Ko, Panahon N'yo | December 2

 They are the names behind some of the most romantic and memorable Filipino ballads, but this is the first time that Ogie Alcasid, Louie Ocampo, and Rey Valera will be performing live together.

These award-winning composers take the stage with their top hits at “Kanta Ko, Panahon N’yo,” the December run of Viva Entertainment’s Songwriters’ Series on 2 December 2016. The show also celebrates the 50th anniversary of Vicor Music as well as that of the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) movement.
