Singh Intrachooto, chief advisor, Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (Thailand)
Singh Intrachooto is the chief advisor of the Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), the knowledge-sharing organisation that promotes innovative and sustainable technology to enhance the community’s well-being. RISC, which focuses its work on non-toxic, low-carbon building materials, boasts a cross-disciplinary and silo-free learning environment with access to global research centres.
In January 2024, RISC co-hosted the International Forest Ecosystem Conference, where Dr Intrachooto presented case studies on eco-conscious real estate development such as The Forestias. Apart from the “Deep Forest” for researchers and ecologists, the chief advisor highlighted Forestias’ sustainability features like interior decoration that “focuses on natural materials such as wood and materials that emit little carbon” and how its “electricity, water, and lighting systems make use of nature and reduce pollution”. Raising further awareness about the climate crisis, RISC also released the Sustainnovation Book, a free resource that helps people create a better future for the next generation.
