For every family, fathers wear different hats and have different approaches to parenthood. Some are more lenient while others are strict; some are exorbitant gifters while others are more frugal; some are more active while others are more laid back. In any case, they hold a special place in the household and in the hearts of the family members.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we asked some of our friends what they wished for their amazing dads:

To Mr. Atom Henares 

Above and beyond being my business mentor, my dad is my mentor of COOL-ness! I know that I am not biased because up until now, at the age of 30, my guy friends come up to me and tell me, "I want to be like your dad when I grow up!" He's the perfect mixture of thoroughness (in a business setting) and fun (outside the boardroom). 

Thank you daddy for continuously watching out for me and loving me unconditionally all these years. Even though I'm getting married this year, I will forever be your little princess!

Dear Fop,

Our wish for you is that you know how grateful we are for every life lesson you've taught us. Even if we didn't see the importance at the time, or if the lesson was difficult, you sacrificed in teaching us anyway to make us better men. Secondly, we wish that you're able to accomplish all you dream of, including running marathons until you're 70!
