Behind the Scenes

Our first cover features the awardees of last November’s Philippine Tatler Ball. Because all have overflowing schedules, getting them together at the same time in the same place—even for a few hours—was the biggest challenge. But in the end, a schedule suitable for everyone was set.

All the awardees, big names in their respective fields, were very professional and accommodating. They trickled in on the appointed time, or a tad bit later but through no fault of their own: the studio was quite hard to find. Each one was styled or groomed and it was admirable that everyone patiently waited for their turn. This is the beauty of working with true professionals.

Our second cover brought us to the City of Light for the annual Le Bal des Débutantes, with our debutante Dominique Cojuangco. It was our first time shooting on the streets of Paris, as well as in a beautiful Parisian apartment. Despite the cold weather, our team braved shooting at a carousel and by the Gran Palais.

It was cold and slightly damp on the day of our shoot in Paris but our debutante Dominique Cojuangco was a real trouper, along with photographer Tim Griffiths
