MIKAELA LAGDAMEO MARTINEZ

mikalagdameofinalupload.jpgBusy mom of three, VP services manager for Store Specialists Incorporated and blogger -- Mikaela Lagdameo Martinez shares her beauty essentials.

For my everyday dewy & fresh look:

  1. MAC Strobe Cream: The strobe cream gives an instant glow & dewy effect! I absolutely love it.
  2. Happy Skin Lip & Cheek Mousse in Warm & Toasty: Another item I can use alone is this lip & cheek mousse that gives exactly the right flush!
  3. Benefit Lash Roller: This Mascara even without the Curler- does all the work on it's own!

ROCIO OLBES-RESSANO

Philanthropist, designer, co founder of HENRY -- the stylish Rocio Olbes shares some of her favorite products and beauty tips.

  1. A good concealer. I personally use Shu or MAC but a good concealer is a must. Aside from special occasions, outings, parties or events, I do not use any make up. I try to keep my face bare as much as possible. Which is why a good concealer is perfect for dabbing on lightly throughout the week but still keeping your face clean and pores open.
  2. Bronzer. Again I believe keeping your face bare is extremely important. But bronzer is an instant enhancer for a nice glow and can add contouring effects to your face. I usually keep a small compact Mac bronzer in my bag a long with my concealer to touch up through out a busy day if need be.
  3. A warm tone lipstick. I have a tendency to look washed out if my lips do not have a tint of few on them. I have fairly pale skin and dark hair so with a nice warm tint on my lips I instantly look more dewy and feel much more confident. I am big fan of MAC lipsticks and I carry one in my bag at all times. I recently just purchased their Jubilee (lustre) shade which is a warm mocha that leaves your lips feeling luscious and warm in a subtle manner. It is your perfect day to evening shade!

Lastly the best beauty essential one can have is confidence and humor. Be confident to go as barefaced as much a possible (your future skin says thank you) and remember your face is what matters not the make up you put on!

MARILU BATCHELOR

Classy mother of two and supportive wife of David Batchelor, Managing Director of Raffles and Fairmont Manila.

First of all, my skin needs to be well moisturized and dewy before I apply any makeup so I always use La Mer moisturizer. This is a must.

Then my favorite 3 makeup essentials that I can't live without are:

Bronzing powder, mascara and lip gloss for a fresh, glowing look!

  1. Bobbi Brown bronzing powder which gives a fresh, sun kissed look.
  2. Three layers of Mascara - first I use Mac Eyelash Primer then Mac Zoom in Black and then Lancôme Hypnose also in Black to give the big bright eye effect.
  3. And for the lips my favorite is Mac Angel lipstick with Nars Turkish Delight Lip Gloss on top. The combination of these two colors together is perfect.

CRISTINA CU

Marketing manager of SM Premium Fashion Retail Designs Inc. – Cristina Cu shows us what beauty products she cannot live without.

  1. Bobbi Brown long wear gel Eyeliner in Black Ink - I am all about a great defined eye and this gel liner meets all the needs. I've worn it almost everyday since HS and swear by it haha. I can wear it in almost any weather including at the beach - the best!
  2. Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm - not only is everything by this brand amazing but this hand Balm not only smells great but also doesn't leave your hands sticky.
  3. Kiehl's ultra face cream - this face cream is light, airy yet filled with tons of moisture! Plus if you buy it here in the PH proceeds go towards a great cause of supporting the payatas foundation. Beauty and giving back doesn't get much better.

INA AYALA

Athletic equestrian and always elegant mother of two -- the stunning Ina Ayala talks us through her beauty routine.

In my bag I always carry:

  1. Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
  2. Bepanthol  Colorless Lip Stick (something I bought at a random German apotheke and now I can’t live without it.  It’s a lipbalm that’s got VitE & sunscreen and when I use it under my lipstick, it also softens the colour for daytime)

For my everyday looks:

  1. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (with a sea sponge)
  2. La Mer Tonic (Toner)
  3. Moisturizer - Crème de La Mer  (a very light application if it’s hot and humid/ heavier application in cold and dry weather)
  4. VMV Armada Sport 70 Sunblock (light application on face, neck and arms everyday / thick application when doing sports under direct sunlight)
  5. MAC Studio Fix NC43 Pressed Powder (I like this product because it gives a very natural but finished look – not so ‘covered’ - but I had to try 2 shades before I got it right with the NC43)
  6. Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill 4-Color Palette #6 Terra Sienna ( I buy eyeshadow palettes so that I won’t have to be the one to match the colors – best to trust the experts!  These shades subtly define my eyes for a natural look.  Just enough to look polished, as I do     not like to look too done in the daytime.
  7. Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner in Jet  Black
  8. Giorgio Armani Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush in #306 Attitude
  9. Lipstick depending on what I’m doing – if sports, then Burt’s Bees #531 Juniper Water / if jeans, etc Revlon Rum Raisin /dressier daytime, a light application of Chanel Rouge Coco #446 Etienne
