Abba has a lot on her plate. Literally. The co-founder of the dynamic The Moment Group, restaurateur Abba has opened one new restaurant every 45 days for the last three years; She has breathed life into a mix of fine to casual dining gems such as Manam, Cue, 8 Cuts, Phát Pho as well the über hip watering hole, Bank Bar. TMG is also behind the fine-dining Mecha Uma and the popular Ooma – both Japanese fusion delights. So when Din Tai Fung, one of the world’s longest standing, five-time Michelin star-awarded restaurant brands selected TMG to represent them in the Philippines, Abba was certain they must be doing something right. TMG is perpetually focused on creating establishments for the different experiences the Filipino diner wants to have and, she says, “We all get a high from giving people a good time.”
