A Gastronomic Journey at Epilogue
Nestled in the luxurious S Maison at Conrad Hotel, they offer a variety of delectable treats that aims to surprise one’s palate. This year, Epilogue brought in a masterful executive chef, Hiroyuki Meno, who has taken the lead in bringing exquisite European cuisine with precise Japanese technique. The Chef trained and worked his way through Michelin-starred restaurants including Domaine Les Haut Rochse in Loire, France, Le Pont de Ciel in Osaka, Japan and L’Auberge De L’ill in Tokyo, Japan.
Any bookwork would appreciate the restaurant’s name – Epilogue, meaning the section or speech at the end of a book or play that serves as a comment on or a conclusion to what has happened. Like its literary meaning, the restaurant offers an epicurean retreat for those living or finding themselves west of the metro. The mood is set with its lightly dimmed contemporary interiors, which complement the modern take on European cuisine.
While the restaurant has excellent dishes across the menu, here are some must-try dishes served from their degustación menu:
The key concept in the kitchen is the practice of Kodawari or the pursuit of perfection through dedication and focus on the task at hand. As can be seen in the technique used in the dishes like the Crispy AMADAI, the chef exercises precision in every dish and instills purpose to every texture and taste.
Epilogue is located at the G/F S Maison, Conrad Hotel Manila. For reservations, you can reach them at (02) 816-7088 or firstname.lastname@example.org
