Enjoy a panoply of flavours at Okada Manila’s upscale Korean barbecue restaurant
Amidst a lush 44-hectare property in Manila’s Entertainment City is a dining destination that offers straightforward Korean cuisine that is sure to win your heart. Goryeo, one of Okada Manila’s signature restaurants, brings an indulgent traditional Korean menu curated by its Chef de Cuisine, Hojin Lee, whose culinary career across Asia spans 18 years.
To start, a wide assortment of delectable banchan appetisers is available—from spicy squid to sweet anchovies, radish and cabbage kimchi bowls, soy-garlic quail eggs, and sauteed cucumber. Each bite a delight.
Enjoy a selection of premium imported meats cooked on innovative tabletop smoke-free grills like the Sogogi Modeum Gui (Special Assorted Beef Set)—a must for carnivores—which includes generous slices of prime rib-eye, boneless short rib, outside skirt, and brisket point. The sinful melt-in-your-mouth Galbi Jim is irresistible, especially when paired with a bowl of Dubu Kimchi (pork and kimchi stew with soft tofu) and the classic Dolsot Bibimbap. For lighter yet equally delicious options, the Haemul Pajeon (thick crab and squid pancakes with leeks), Kimbap (rice and seaweed rolls) and the Japchae do not disappoint.
Apart from some of the world’s best soju and wines, Goryeo also features Okada Manila’s signature homemade iced tea that is infused with fragrant notes of vanilla, as well as refreshing custom-made fruit wines to go. Desserts are kept simple like the artisanal matcha ice cream and other luscious sweet concoctions.
Located at the upper ground floor of Okada Manila, Goryeo not only serves a mouth-watering Korean feast; the panoramic bayside views are a sweet bonus.
