New World Makati Hotel whisks guests away on a northern gastronomic journey through a Norwegian culinary fare this May.

Diners are invited to a culinary voyage to Norway with the executive chef Robert Davis and the guest chef Markus Dybwad at the helm, bringing Norway’s freshest and finest seafood to Café 1228 and Jasmine.

At Café 1228, the chef Dybwad stirs to life the lunch and dinner buffet with spectacles of first-class Norwegian seafood specialities such as salmon gravlax, herring in tomato, whole steamed brill with light soy and chilli, Atlantic cod with brown butter and dill, grilled king crab with lemon and parsley, and haddock in beer batter. Guests may enjoy these dishes along with many other scrumptious international dishes for 1,999 pesos per person for lunch on weekdays and 2,299 pesos per person for lunch on weekends. Daily dinner buffet is set at 2,399 pesos per person. 

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong master chef Wong Kam On highlights an à la carte menu starring Norway’s coastal gems prepared using authentic Chinese ingredients and preparations for lunch and dinner at Jasmine.
