Michelin has given Germany a new three-starred restaurant. Michelin released the selection of its 2020 guide for Germany, which includes a new three-starred destination in Berlin

Dishes at Rutz, helmed by chef Marco Müller, are described as "full of finesse, with a strong identity" and balanced flavors.

The addition of Rutz brings the number of three-starred restaurants to 10 in Germany.

Inspectors also gave seven restaurants their second star in cities like Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Hanover.

The one-star category saw 29 new additions for the 2020 guide.

Cuisines and styles represented include French, creative modern, Mediterranean, vegan and casual fine dining.
