The mooncake represents good tidings and unity, traditionally shared to family, friends, and business partners. This year, Makati Shangri-La, Manila has new mooncake offerings that are perfect for giving.
Made from top quality ingredients, the hotel’s mooncakes are meticulously blended together to bring out the purest flavours. Guests may choose from red bean, mixed nuts, black sesame, and the best-selling signature white lotus, which also comes in a 30% less sugar variant. In addition to these classic favourites, the hotel introduces a new flavour, pandan. Its fragrant aroma and sweet taste are widely popular and close to the hearts of the Asian community.
Another unique offering for this year is Makati Shangri-La’s musical mooncake box which can hold four large mooncakes of any flavour. The music boxes are available at PHP 5,028++ each. Guests can likewise go classic and choose from other intricately designed cheongsam boxes. The box of two large mooncakes are at PHP 1,488++, the slim square box of four large mooncakes at PHP 2,888++, and the tower box of six mini mooncakes are at PHP 3,018++.
A special hamper with two mooncakes, a bottle of red wine, chocolate bar, salted cashew nuts, top-shell in abalone sauce, Chinese sausage, dried mushrooms, red dates, goji berries, and cordyceps flowers is also available at PHP 9,888++.
