Celebrate Oktoberfest In These 5 Happening Places
It’s finally October, which means there will be free-flowing beer and savoury German cuisine to dig into as Manila and other parts of the country celebrate the world’s largest beer festival – the Oktoberfest.
What began as a wedding celebration of then-Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess in October 1810 is now an annual festivity observed not only in Munich, Germany but all across the globe. The wedding was celebrated with several days of drinking, feasting, horse races, and lively music. More than 200 years later, it became largely associated with flowing pints of beer and the Bavarian culture.
Want to experience the worldwide party? We’ve got you covered! Here are places where you can party and celebrate the German way:
Solaire Resort & Casino
