The posh exterior of Oakroom has a special story behind "Charlie's Menu." The general manager Rick Erdos' son, Charlie, was born with Down syndrome. His wife Alison shares the story of her pregnancy and says, "I wish I hadn't shed so many tears or been so worried. He fills my heart with joy every single day and brings a smile to every person he meets in his travels." The love and support Charlie has grown up with are what DSAPI hopes the parents in the Philippines can give to their children with Down syndrome.

Join Oakroom for Charity Week and take part in its Australian fare. A three-course menu features a main course option of Charlie's tropical burger with bacon, fried egg, lettuce, whopper tomato and pineapple, fries and coleslaw, Aussie Bangers and homemade mashed potatoes; or fish and chips served with vinegar, fries, and side salad.
