Originally set to open last March, Sunae finally opens its doors to serve magnificent Asian-inspired dishes that its chef, Christina Sunae grew up eating. Having been raised by her Kapampangan mother and grandmother, Christina learned to cook a handful of classic Filipino dishes before eventually moving to New York to hone her skills in the kitchen. Since then, Christina had relocated to Buenos Aires where she opened her first namesake restaurant, Cocina Sunae, in 2009. As a result of her love for travel, diners can expect a whirlwind of flavours and spices in Sunae's dishes, but underneath it all, her food remains Filipino at its core.
