Welcome to Foodie Finds! This is an article series by Tatler, chronicling where and what to order according to the food-obsessed.

I myself have never understood non-foodies. How can one not love flavours, spices, aromas and all the cultural nuances and memories that come with every bite? Dining is an experience meant to be savoured and is even more fun when shared with loved ones. Dining around a table means sharing, conversing, bonding and learning. A dish can tell you so much about a person, a culture, and a country. It speaks volumes of a nation's history and is an art form on its own. Skilled hands are trained over years or are born out of pure passion and practice. Professional chefs and home cooks alike, from young stars to grandmothers, have been cooking up meals filled with emotion and have truly made us foodies, happy.

Through Foodie Finds, we ask our epicurean friends to share their favourites. In this feature, we tackle takeout and delivery with someone who loves to eat plant-based as much as possible. Hear what Sara Black has to say.

Sara Black, a seasoned photographer, has switched gears and now mostly focuses on another passion of hers: wellness. As a long time wellness advocate, she is a professional yoga, meditation, and radiant energy coach. Through Live Awake, a wellness community she founded, Sara aims to help people be more mindful and sustainable in everyday life.

Here, she shares her go-to shops for takeout.

1. People’s Palace

@peoplespalacethai

People’s Palace is so tasty all around. I always order the pad thai, and love that they have a lot of vegetarian options, which suits my lifestyle.

2. Real Food

@realfoodph

This grocer is a wonderful stop for great local goods. They are my go-to for Malagos goat cheese, which is easier on my digestion. Apparently goats milk sits well with me! The feta cheese is also so yummy.

3. Mantra

@mantrabistroph

To me, this is hands-down the best Indian food in the country! It is a party in your mouth. I love to order the green pea tikki.

4. Super Scoops

@superscoopsph

For dessert, I love the vegan ice cream from Super Scoops. It is made from coconut milk and makes me feel like I am eating Häagen-Dazs! It is really yummy. I honestly have six pints in my freezer now, haha!

5. Crosta Pizzeria

@crostapizzeria

I am so glad that they have a selection of vegan pizzas and sourdough crust too–it is easier to digest than the typical wheat-based crust since it's fermented. They have options with cashew-based vegan cheese as well, which is great because I am a bit lactose intolerant and I cannot eat too much cheese.
