Oori Korean Restaurant brings Chuseok, Korea’s Thanksgiving Festival, to Manila and closer to your homes
Chuseok is one of Korea’s biggest festivals as it celebrates abundance and harvest. This year has major setbacks for everyone, but there is still a lot to be grateful for and celebrate. While Chuseok is officially on 1 October, Oori makes the festivities grander with a bounty of specials starting 21 September until 4 October 2020.
THANKSGIVING GRILLFEST
As it is getting relatively safer to dine out, Oori is beyond ready to welcome you for a grill indulgence to celebrate Chuseok. Oori’s Korean Chef Kibum Park, thoughtfully prepared a traditional four-course grill menu good for two persons. This Korean thanksgiving set highlights 100g each of LA galbi beef and Duroc pork collar. It also includes sides like samsaek jeum (three kinds of pancakes), samsaek namul (3 kinds of vegetables), japchae, songpyeun (rice cake), steamed rice with soup, and unlimited servings of banchan (side dishes). This hefty spread is only Php 3,400 nett. Available all day from 11am to 9pm. Prior reservations are recommended.
SEONMUL HAMPER
Literally meaning “gift”, seonmul hamper is a perfect appreciation gift box for Php 5,000 nett. Inside a stylish rustic wooden crate are ready-to-cook Australian Wagyu rib-eye and Duroc pork collar (250g each). A Korean meal is not complete without the banchans; get to choose 5 out of the 14 selections that come in a jar. Since it’s meant for celebration, a soju bottle completes the gift box.
