The music of Christmas is the song of the season at Raffles and Fairmont Makati. In partnership with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, the hotel’s halls will be filled with melodies of cheerful song. In the spirit of giving, Raffles and Fairmont Makati has made a commitment to the Manila Symphony Orchestra to support their mission in having a permanent home by setting aside proceeds from the holiday promotions to be donated to the organization.
Delight in a choice of tea paired with freshly-baked scones, holiday pastries, and delicate teacup sandwiches. Enjoy this tea-time with special performances by the Manila Symphony Orchestra’s quartet, taking place every Saturday of December. At the Long Bar, get into the holiday spirit with friends over its Cool Yule Jazz Nights on Wednesdays. From 5p.m. to 8p.m., kick back to a Happy Hour filled with Christmas jazz songs inspired by Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bing Crosby. Guests indulging in Jazz Nights during Happy Hour can enjoy free-flowing local and imported beers, selected cocktails, and house spirits accompanied by a Chef’s Sampler of tapas. On December 9, feast on traditional Christmas delights such as eggnog, mince pies, and mulled wine while listening to “Renaissance-style” music by the Manila Symphony Orchestra in Ye Olde Christmas Concert with melodies played on lutes, fiddles, and harps.
