In the middle of Manila’s mad holiday scramble, the Milky Way building stands serene and ready to serve on its familiar corner on Arnaiz Avenue. For the Gamboa family, who have been hosting functions at Milky Way in old San Miguel since the 1960s, the Christmas rush is nothing to get frazzled about.
“After everything we’ve learned over the decades, we’re happy to take that experience and use it to make life simpler for everyone else,” says Malu Gamboa-Lindo, who runs the family restaurants together with her brother Chef J. Gamboa.
As such, the Milky Way building has everything one might possibly need to plan a stress-free holiday celebration–including function rooms for up to 180 guests, open bar packages, DJ and band options, and banquet menus that serve up the best of the building’s award-winning restaurants, and then some.
