Since the only spirit you’ll want to see come Halloween is one you can sip and savor, Single Origin introduces cocktails made with renowned rum Diplomatico. The award-winning rum from Venezuela is shaken and stirred into four festive concoctions, from a Ginger Diplo that gives the traditional Moscow Mule a spicy kick, to a duo of daiquiris that lean towards tropical and refreshing. Using a special Diplomatico matured in whiskey barrels, a Venezuelan Old Fashioned brings greater substance to rum’s sweetness.
As easy-drinking and delicious as Single Origin’s new cocktails are, you’ll need something to sop up the alcohol. Even better paired with booze are these additions to the menu: a crowd-pleasing Truffle Mac & Cheese with an addictive Mornay sauce; beer-battered Soft Shell Crab Sliders; or a lobster sandwich that deep dives into indulgence. Also, a Hong Kong French Toast slathered and sizzled with butter, peanut butter, and condensed milk hits the sweet spot between before-dawn bites and late-night dessert.
To put it simply: be very afraid if you miss out on this menu by the time Halloween rolls by.
