Begin with the lumpiang ubod, fresh spring rolls, complemented with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The classic half-kilo garlic chili crab follows suit, its sauce made using a blend of the distinct flavours of Italian olive oil, garlic, Sri Lankan chili flakes, and Japanese soy sauce.

Pair these main dishes with leafy green garlic kankun (kangkong in local terms) and choose from either Kade bread (Sri Lankan street bread) or Japanese steamed rice for your other side option, but both are perfect to enjoy the crab’s sauce with.
