Right in the heart of the Makati CBD, one of Scotland's leading distilleries opens the doors to a place where connoisseurs can relax and enjoy one of the world's finest spirits in a refined setting
Whisky afficionados in Makati no longer have to go too far to be able to enjoy their favourite spirit in a relaxing environment, thanks to The Macallan Lounge at Mandalay.
Located inside Mandalay Whisky and Cigars in Legaspi Village, The Macallan Lounge is an elegant space that takes inspiration from old-fashioned gentlemen's clubs in Victorian and Edwardian England, or - more appropriately - the hunting lodges owned by Scots noblemen. Dark-stained wood and leather upholstery figure prominently in a room designed along the lines of a private library; design accents such as the chevron motif seen in the room call to mind the bold new look of The Macallan brand, as well as the visual appeal of the Macallan Distillery which opened in June of last year.
Here, patrons can enjoy an extensive selection of The Macallan's finest. Along with the core 12 Year Old age statements of Sherry Oak, Double Cask, and Triple Cask matured whiskies, connoiseurs may also opt for bottles from the prestigious 1824 Masters Series collection.
According to Edrington brand development manager Samantha Chan, “The opening of The Macallan Lounge at Mandalay marks a milestone in our partnership with Mandalay Whisky and Cigars, and we look forward to a strong working relationship with them."
The Macallan Lounge is open from 6:00pm to 2:00am from Monday to Saturday, and from 4:00pm to midnight on Sundays.
