Dining Update: The Wholesome Table Just Came Out With New Scrumptious Dishes
Before July ends, The Wholesome Table, a health-focused restaurant, brings some of our favourite comfort food that we have enjoyed both at home and abroad. These familiar dishes that everyone has come to love are reinvented with wellness in mind, using healthier, guilt-free ingredients.
On the menu is the torched salmon bowl made with miso-glazed salmon atop Ifugao black rice, seasoned with wasabi mayo, pickled ginger, furikake, wakame and ebiko as well as the grilled pork chop with bacon braised red cabbage, herb-roasted squash and topped with truffled mushroom sauce. Those are innovative versions of cult favourites such as the miso-glazed salmon and pork chops.
If you’re a vegetarian, the caramelised walnut and onion pizza won’t disappoint. It’s the perfect marriage of sweetness from the caramelised walnuts and onions, and sharp, salty notes of feta cheese.
Something new on offer is the herb-roasted half chicken and pan-roasted cedar salmon. Their herb-roasted chicken sits on top of a “Robuchon”-style pomme puree and is oozing with umami from the rich coq au vin sauce. On the other hand, their pan-roasted cedar salmon served with cilantro rice and mango salsa has a kick from those cajun spices but is mellowed down by the acidity and brightness of the salsa.
They’re all available starting 23 July 2020 for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. The Wholesome Table BGC, Salcedo, Rockwell are all open from 11am - 8pm while the Wholesome Table Greenbelt is open from 10am - 8pm. You can also have these delicious treats delivered through their website.
