"The dish is a traditional Burnt Basque Cheesecake recipe that I learnt during the time I was living and working in the Basque country, specifically when I was in Arzak in San Sebastian. Over the years, I kept this recipe for very special occasions, like baking for my wife Teri, family and friends at most. This created special moments between me and Teri. In fact, we turned baking into our ‘dates’ and because it means so much to us, we decided to launch this as our first project together: Chef Chele’s Kitchen! This is our ‘first baby’ that we are introducing just in time for the Christmas season. We want to share the joy and happiness of this special recipe that now is not only mine but ours. We have created beautiful packaging, elegant and festive, perfectly aligned for the occasion." - Chef Chele Gonzalez
