Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila welcomes the Year of the Earth Pig with a sumptuous feast masterfully prepared by Spiral’s newest culinary artisan, Chinese Chef Yui So Chan. Take part in a culinary journey inspiring abundance and wealth featuring twelve delectable dishes showcasing authentic Chinese cuisine. As this year promises prosperity, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila presents a gastronomic offer available from 4th to 8th of February 2019.

Meanwhile, on February 4, Sunset Bar presents a Chinese hawker style feast on its Sunset Barbecue buffet. Gourmands will be entertained by a live musical entertainment, fire dancers and a fireworks display as they enjoy this festive celebration. Pair the auspicipous feast with an unlimited pour of local beer, iced tea, special cocktails, and wine.

In Marco Polo Ortigas, indulge in staple glutinous rice cakes for that stroke of luck. Choose between its two forms: the gold bar, which is available boxes of one and two pieces and in brown sugar flavor; or the traditional round variant, which is available in orange and brown sugar flavors.

Feast over festive dishes by Chinese Executive Chef Terry Lai at Lung Hin. Suckling Pig Cold Cuts Combination, Steamed Live Garoupa with Minced Garlic in Supreme Soy Sauce, and Braised Abalone with Fish Maw in Oyster Sauce (10 heads) are some of the dishes crafted for a fine celebration. Classic Salmon Yu Sheng Prosperity Toss is also available in the special a la carte menu to bring in more luck.

Feast with your family in The Peninsula Manila's classic Chinese traditional dishes such as Crispy Five Spice Pork Belly with Pan-Seared Radish Cake and Long Beans, served with Jus, and Salted Egg Prawns with Ginger Bok Choy and Vegetable Fried Rice served from February 4 to 6, 2019. 

Watch in awe and be entertained by the skillful movements of the Lion and Dragon Dance performers as they bring life to colorful lion and dragon figures on February 5. A symbol of great power, dignity, fertility, wisdom and prosperity, the Lion and Dragon Dance, accompanied by the music of beating of drums and cymbals, is believed to bring good luck.

Spoil yourself with classic dim sum offerings in New World Makati's authentic Chinese Restaurant, Jasmine. Excitingly, you can now chow down on your favorite dim sum as many as your tummy wants. Enjoy this with soup, rice, or noodle dish on the side until April 30, 2019.
