People often find love in the most unexpected places—case in point: Cliff Ho, who first laid eyes on Martine Cajucom via her cousin Georgina Wilson-Burnand’s Instagram account. While it doesn’t sound like the typical beginning of a great love story, it was how Ho pursued her to earn a first date that sealed the deal for Cajucom. The two then-strangers found themselves together in beautiful Bohol, which would later lead to a walk down the aisle more than four years after.
140 guests, many of whom are from Manila’s It crowd, flew to Bali over one weekend. Come Saturday, stunning photos of Cajucom in a wedding gown by Rosa Clara surfaced online. Her bridesmaids looked radiant in designs by Dion Lee. The groom, dashing in a suit b y Suit It Up Manila, was crying as soon as he saw his bride. During the ceremony, local band Manja played “Kissing You” by Des’ree and “Tenderness” by General Public.
Cajucom was in charge of the wedding’s overall look: muted, modern, and minimal. The couple’s wedding cake was prepared by Balinese designer Ixora, and styled by Cajucom’s sister with hand-pressed flowers she brought from Los Angeles. Ho, on the other hand, manag ed the total guest experience. During the reception, his family did a surprise performance of “Awitin Mo,” that made the crowd go wild.
