We all want to be happy, right?
In this day and age, we are all trying to catch up to our hectic lifestyles. Every now and then it is absolutely essential to simply take a moment (or two!) and focus on one’s own well-being and enjoyment.
More than 40 ladies were in for a special treat at the 26th anniversary celebration of Chopard’s Happy Sport collection. From indulgent start to indulgent finish, every single guest was delightfully entertained as they sipped on overflowing bubbly, rosé, and MYO gin & tonics. The fantastic spread prepared by the Shangri-La at the Fort included a façon paysanne and creperie station as well as an abundance of all kinds of cheeses and cold cuts.
The well-appointed Private Dining Hall of Horizon Homes, the residential tower of Shangri-La at the Fort, was done up with pretty pastel blooms and accented with soft feminine touches.
Just as the Happy Sport tagline goes “Diamonds are happiest when they are free (pertaining to the spinning diamonds in the bezel of the watches), the ladies were encouraged to roam around freely around this happy space and try their hand at a number of fun and amusing activities.
To start, the lovely Marilen Elizalde was invited to speak about essential oils and how to use them to create different moods and remedies as well as how to mix and match them to make your perfect scent. Florist Mia Cabawatan-Lozada of Bloomwoods taught everyone, step-by-step, how to arrange their favourite flowers for one’s home and special occasions. Guests also got to take home a nice token to frame—a portrait by the talented artist and illustrator, Soleil.
Elated to be part of Chopard’s fun-filled fête, Irene Martel Francisco, Philippine Tatler Managing Director, warmly welcomed one and all before introducing the CEO of Chopard Asia, Mr. Stephan Ritzmann.
After the opening remarks by Mr. Ritzmann, who flew in especially for the occasion, the ladies’ attention turned to the high-energy short video about the Happy Sport collection.
At the end of the evening, once everyone had had their fill, guests got to go home with wonderful gifts including the potted floral arrangements that they had created, the portraits done by Soleil as well as special chocolates. A fantastic ending to a very memorable evening.
