Maritess and Ambassador Manolo Lopez, Acting Secretary Laura del Rosario, Atsushi Ueno, Ma. Serena Diokno

Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto del Rosario hosted the Manila book launch of Heritage and History of The Kudan in absentia but was well represented by Acting Secretary Laura Q. Del Rosario, who delivered a message on the Secretary’s behalf, commending the Philippine Ambassador to Japan Manuel M. Lopez for spearheading the book project. As underscored by the speakers during the event, held at the Rockwell Centre, the Kudan House, the official residence of the Philippine ambassador in Tokyo, is a strong symbol of the history of Philippine-Japan relations.
