In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Metropolitan Museum exhibited the works of award-winning Filipino film-maker Brillante Mendoza. The exhibition showcased full-length films, advocacy documentaries, as well as television commercials, all of which highlighted the excellence of the esteemed director. “Brillante Mendoza: A Contemporary Filipino Filmmaker Exhibition,” curated by Professor Leo Abaya, is the first in a series that culminates in the last quarter of the year.
