The Manila Polo Club officially opened the polo season with the Past Presidents' Cup. On the field were Alfie Araneta, Paola Zobel, Jose Constantino, Rosanna Yulo, father and son Santi and Jun Juban, Angelo Licaros and Fred Borromeo for the Low Goal Match which opened the ceremony. The highlight of the event was the high goal match, which had Iñigo Zobel, Santi Laborde, Jim Donovan, Jay de Jesus, Gus Aguirre, Dirk Gould, Sonny Borromeo, and Stuart Tomlinson on the field.
