On a pleasant afternoon at Santuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati, Catherine “Cat” Huang and Dr. David Endriga tied the knot, pledging themselves to each other forever.

More than 600 guests witnessed the exchange of vows, said as beautiful music courtesy of concert cellist Renato Lucas and the Philippine Madrigal Singers filled the church.

This was followed by a fun-filled reception at Shangri-La at the Fort, where guests gleefully remarked how the two, in spite of their different personalities and backgrounds, complement one another.

The bride, beautiful in a Jojie Lloren-designed princess-cut dress with calado skirt and Filipiniana jacket, is the unica hija of SSI Group, Inc. and Rustan’s chairman, Zenaida “Nedy” Rustia Tantoco, and Commonwealth Foods president, Anthony Huang. She currently serves as the general manager of Marks & Spencer in the Philippines.

The groom, who wore a sleek black suit by Bergamo, is an orthopaedic spine surgeon, musician, and the eldest son of Tessie and Baltazar Endriga, former president of the Cultural Centre of the Philippines and founder of the Meridian International College of Business and the Arts.

This momentous ceremony marks the union of two families, whose friendship has lasted for decades. First forged through their mutual passion for arts and culture, David and Cat joining hands in marriage makes this bond even stronger.
