Architect Miko de los Reyes and luxe retail heiress Nicole Tantoco combined the four things they loved the most when they wed: family, fashion, design, and music

After four years of dating, multiple bridal showers, and a mega Despedida de Soltera, Miko de los Reyes and Nicole Tantoco were finally wed in front of 215 guests in a charming rustic ceremony in Tagaytay. Pre ‘I do’s, however, the Despedida de Soltera held at Whitespace was lavishly done up like an enchanted garden with a theme—Broadchella—that was an ultimate treat for the bride-to-be. “It was a combination of Broadway and Coachella, to symbolise my love for music and fashion. It was so adorable!” Tantoco said of the musical tribute performed by a mix of talented family members and professionals. Coming from a family so tied to luxe retail, Tantoco did not disappoint in her fashion choices: a white and pink Alice McCall dress for her “giving away” party; then a Jojie Lloren-designed embroidered piña callado for her walk down the aisle. De los Reyes, an architect, designed his own barong. The wedding ceremony was held at Nuvali’s Montecito Chapel, where The Taytay Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and Taytay Men’s choir sang traditional Filipino and Latin hymns that added a solemnly elegant air to the nuptial mass. The ceremony was followed by a sophisticated and intimate reception at Antonio’s punctuated by the entertaining speeches from the fathers of the groom and bride. Miko made sure the floral décor and table arrangements were spot on while Nicole was in charge of the menu. Later, everyone headed down to the cabana for some serious dancing and GnTs.
