The Primer Group of Companies, Lucerne and Grimalkin, who are exclusive distributors of Victorinox travel gear, watches, and Swiss Army knives in the Philippines, invited VIP guests and members of the press to its gallery showcase last 27 August at the Atrium of The Podium. The gallery chronicles the milestones of the brand from its founding in 1884 to where it is today. Victorinox Philippines Travel Gear Brand Manager Vianca Tan and Senior Marketing Supervisor Abby Borbon also gave short speeches on the brand as a bastion of Swiss innovation.

This event also marked the first public appearance of His Excellency Alain Gaschen, the newly appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to the Philippines. After an insightful speech on Swiss heritage and the beginning of his tour of duty in the country, Fil-Swiss personalities actress Dina Bonnevie, Lotus F1 Team racer Marlon Stockinger, and Philippine National Ice Hockey team captain Steven Füglister were called onstage to receive the Karl Elsener Commemorative Coin Set.
