No one throws a party like Mellie Ablaza. The Honourary Consul of Guatemala has been known as “high society’s queen of grand celebrations,” and her 77th birthday celebration did not disappoint. Her hacienda in Alfonso, Cavite was filled with colour that exuded the vibrance of Latin America. Guests were entertained by a performance from balladeer Will Angeles, Latino dances by Dance Royalties, and music courtesy of a live mariachi band. The lady of honour’s son, Jun Jun Ablaza, also staged a fashion show. Indeed, the feast was the grandest Mellie has held yet.
