It also launched the next phase of its project, Imaginary Rides, which hinted at its grander plans for the future: launching a mobile game.
Fast forward months of planning and development and that game has just soft launched today: Bubble Rangers, a mobile game that Imaginary Ones hopes will help make it become a household name.
We spoke with Chia ahead of the release of Bubble Rangers to learn more about the game and what else is in the pipeline for the project.
For those who might not be familiar with Imaginary Ones, can you give an introduction to the project?
Clement Chia (CC): Imaginary Ones is an NFT collection that has 8,888 fully animated and 3D characters on the Ethereum network. My team and I see the project as a way to spread love, positivity and creativity using art.
The NFT space has been very male-dominated and we wanted to change this, so we decided to create an inclusive collection that would appeal to individuals of all ages and genders. This is why our characters are designed with a cheery, optimistic vibe and spread the message of “Live your most colourful life”.
