The actress and singer has already gained more than 30,000 subscribers since posting her first video on February 15

Philippine-born artist Nadine Lustre has added a new title to her resume: YouTuber.

On February 15, the actress and singer announced the opening of her official YouTube channel with the posting of her first video. The video starts with a countdown, before Lustre appears, clad in a camel-coloured ensemble and white boots. She drags a sofa across the screen, sits down, starts posing, does a closeup and adjusts her makeup.

Lustre had previously taken to Twitter to ask her fans for suggestions on what kind of content they'd like to see from her. Her YouTube channel already has more than 100,000 subscribers and her first video has 180,000 views.

Lustre bagged the Best Actress Award at the Manila Film Festival for her role in Deleter last December. That same month, she also launched her first online store to sell her pre-loved items and fragrance Luster.

As a singer, Lustre is signed with Careless Music, which is helmed by fellow Filipino musician, actor and entrepreneur James Reid. Following the release of her 2020 album, Wildest Dreams, Lustre has dropped multiple singles—her latest being Wait for Me, which was dropped last year.
