The New City Center Landmark competition made the decision this year to not award the first prize. Instead, they decided to position second place with the top rank. This prestigious award was awarded to Sou Fujimoto Architects for their forward-looking design.

1. How big is the proposed tower?
The proposed tower is set to be 880 feet which comes up to 268 meters tall. It will also be made up of not one, not 10, but 99 tower-like pieces that will be joined together by a horizontal plane in the top section.
The horizontal plane will gradually fade away as you go lower down the structure to give you the impression that it is floating in the air.
The central core will serve as the basis for the tower which will be held together using tension cables to make it look like there is water flowing down to the bay.
