Brought to life by the NCCA, DESK, and the office of Senator Loren Legarda, the Philippines is hosting a three-museum exhibit (Metropolitan Museum of Manila, UP Vargas Museum, and the Yuchengco Museum) entitled, Ties of History. Curated by Dr. Patrick Flores, it will run from August 10 to October 6, 2018. Contemplating the role and state of contemporary art in Southeast Asia, the exhibit puts forward ten points of view —one artist to represent each ASEAN member state.
