Before it became known for offering a plethora of luxury home furnishings, Kuysen began as a small industrial hardware store in Caloocan in 1989. The very first premium brand brought in by Kuysen Go was Tyrolit, the Austria-based Swarovski-owned pioneer in abrasives that became a domestic industry leader.

Trips to prestigious European construction exhibitions opened up the opportunity for Go to bring some of these brands home as partners. Among the first prestigious names Kuysen would import and distribute were Hansgrohe and Duravit, which to this day are the company’s flagship brands.

In 1990, Jensen Go joined the family business, and welcomed a host of internally acclaimed brands like Kaldewei, Victoria+Albert, Teka, Aquatherm, Geberit, Geesa, Schell and many more to the company’s ever growing portfolio of partners. What these brands have in common were exceptional design and  unquestionable commitment to quality. Nine years later, the 500-square meter showcase of Europe’s finest bathroom brands was opened in Glorietta 4.

By 2007, Kuysen had moved into its new corporate headquarters—an eight-storey multi-function office and showroom. The company populated the space with more offerings. The company ventured into the the tile industry with European brands Cerim from Italy and Ibero from Spain. Complementary products like Kessel and BWT for water filtration systems were added.

Then in 2013, the Kuysen-Hansgrohe flagship showroom in Eton Residences Makati opened with Philippe Grohe himself, Axor Brand Head of Hansgrohe, declaring it as prestigious as their own during his speech. It also marked the 25th year of the company.
