The Philippine Educational Theatre Association (PETA) is offering plenty to get you and your children excited at home. Their “Let’s Get Creative” online workshop series is opening with a Children’s Theatre pilot class on 18 May. Young children ages 8-10 can engage in a five-day online course to learn more about music, visual arts, and improv acting.
PETA’s “Let’s Get Creative” series on Facebook Live continues every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Netizens can engage in various topics that range from personal grooming to crafting to music composition and more.
Those who are interested can also join PETA’s “Talk Tuesdays”, a webinar series that focuses on the psychological effects of the COVID pandemic — a timely subject as we anticipate further announcements concerning our two-month quarantine.
But at the end of the day, if you’re looking to bond with your family, then we suggest joining PETA on “Streaming and Storytelling Sundays”. Their rich assortment of productions have included plays “William” and “Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang”. To learn more, visit their website.
