Carved from antique jade, Chinese warrior figurines and discs in shades of deep, crocodile green are chic additions to any table setting, balanced off with lighter stone. The Evergreens and pinecones blend seamlessly into the setting, for a delicate holiday touch
Staying true to their design philosophy of blending diverse and unique pieces, Andres Vazquez-Prada and Kaye Tinga of W/17 unveil tasteful touches to welcome the holiday season. It is all about understated style and deliberate composition, bringing out the best of natural elements with deep, earth tones.

Complement oriental jade-to bring in good feng shui of harmony and balance for the New Year-with forest green foliage and pinecones carefully scattered over tablescapes and vignettes. Rustic wooden elements and vintage pieces make for timeless and romantic settings. The subtle, warm sheen of metals adds a playful contrast and vibrant touch to conjure up a festive, yet sophisticated, atmosphere.

Vazquez-Prada and Tinga advocate for “less is more” when it comes to decorating. “All the unnecessary frills and ornamentation distract from the most important element of the season: the people we laugh and celebrate with,'’ says Tinga. Focus on creating a comforting and warm mood through natural and elegant pieces to make and share memories with loved ones.
