In a bid to make art more accessible, organisers of Art In The Park have embarked on a new initiative that aims to inject creativity back into the economy

The digital migration is no small feat, but in 2020 it can easily spell the difference between success and setback. Art, beloved as it is, wasn't spared from finding ways to adapt. Months after the first online instalment of Art in the Park, Art Fair Philippines presents a new initiative entitled Uncrating O2O, or Uncrating Offline to Online.

Described as a "hybrid experience of viewing and acquiring art", Uncrating O2O gives fans a chance to experience creativity in both the physical and digital realm. The catalogue of artworks will be available for public viewing online at the O2O Instagram account, as well as at the Greenbelt 5 Gallery.

Works available for viewing and buying will include those from a small roster of artists from Tin-Aw Art Management. Among these are rarely accessible works from street artist, Egg Fiasco, as well as an installation of crates by scenographer Ed Lacson, Jr. Artists such as Julian Udine, Faye Abantao, and Pin Calacal will also be ready for visitors and online guests.

The pieces above show mixed medium works entitled Persona Pixel 1.0 and Persona Pixel 4.0, respectively, by Julian Udine.

An emotional diptych entitled Finding Each Other by Pin Calacal will also be highlighted at the Uncrating O2O event. All works displayed can be purchased either offline or online. Visitors who make their transactions via select BPI cards (BPI Visa Signature or Amore Platinum) will receive a special gift.

Support our art culture by checking out Uncrating O2O, which will run from 12 November to 6 December 2020.
